I come from a farming background and love living in the country side. I grew up picking mushrooms at dawn, making blackberry jam or apple jelly for our family, a tradition I carry on for my guests. I like to cook bread and scones like my mother before me, and I grow herbs for my kitchen, and flowers to cut for my home. I live in a beautiful area of East Cork, which I enjoy to the fullest; walking in the local woods, playing tennis in our sea-front club, sea-swimming, body-surfing and kayaking. We are fortunate to have numerous beaches, all different, all with their own charm, and all within a 10 min drive. It is from these beaches that I collect the bountiful supplies for my sea glass and beach art.

I have retired after 20 years of managing a community playgroup to establish Tranquil Water Living. Having grown up in a home where there was a seat at the table for all visitors I now love extending a warm, welcoming hospitality to my guests.

Tranquil Water Living is located near Midleton, 27 km from Cork city and airport,
